.) Follow all of these rules, otherwise your butt will be mine. I have neither the time, or patience to deal with people who break the rules on purpose. Of course I know that everyone makes mistakes, and that sometimes it just slips out, but do it often, and I'll kick your butt.
.) Be literate. I do not absolutely want to see chatspeak anywhere on this site. Yeah, the chat-box is another issue. But, even when your just chatting on the boards, be literate. I really shouldn't even have to emphasize this. This is a literate site. If you are just starting to become literate, good for you. But we are more of an advanced site. Meaning, I want quality paragraphs. I'd say about 200 words per roleplay post. If you can't even get past 100 words, then this is definitely not the site for you.. Or at least, not yet. Here at Trust, we do not teach. We hang out and roleplay.
.) No SPAM and stuff. I really cannot stand the stuff. While the chat-box is a different thing, I will not tolerate it anywhere else on the site. Also, sexual stuff, I will permit, BUT, to a very limited extent. I mean, most of us here are probably 13+. So yeah, talking about dates and crap is allowed. But if it gets too disgusting, (which I am sure y'all are smart enough not to post anyways) you will be either banned or kicked off the site within 24 hours. Of course, it would have to be very.. vivid in order for such extreme measures.
.) When it comes to language, I really don't care. As long as it doesn't get too bad- and it isn't over-used, I'm fine with mild swearing. "Fuck and shit", however, will not be allowed. The others will be allowed. Personally, I have never been a huge of it, but I still don't care if you don't use it. In character, or out of character. Just don't abuse it, alright?
.) Treat others how you want to be treated. So, you be nice, and I'll be nice back. You be rude, and I'll bite your head off, m'kays? XD Naturally, this goes for everyone else. Such a easy rule to follow, right?
.) Stay active. Make sure before you click that "register" button at the bottom- that you realize that you are making a commitment. The last thing this site needs is people who register, and then never come back online again. How annoying, right? So, when you register, make sure to save the website link, and come on often. Make sure to be online at least once or twice a week. I expect you to post at least once a week too. Sure, I understand that your life is starting to get out of hand, and have no free time like you used to. And if that happens, then just tell us so. We totally understand. Most of us probably have lives. I know people who do.
.) One account per person. I don't want fifty billion accounts all played by the same person. It is really a pain to keep track of, and dude, have you ever tried to do a Activity Check with so many accounts? It is just another thing that I can do to help avoid confusion. (As if the site is complicated.. -snorts-) You can have as many characters as you can handle, but remember, just keep them all on one account. I will also talk a bit more 'bout that in the character stuff.
